I was born in Miami, Florida, and although I lived in Canada during my early years, ages 6 to 14, I have since that time resided in Florida. I attended College at the University of Florida where I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology and Cell Science. My dental training consists of a Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry and completion of a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida.
I am an active member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association and the West Coast Dental Association. I am also a charter member of the Tampa branch of the Seattle Study Club, a nationally recognized organization committed to excellence in Dentistry.
I have been very happily married to my wife, Donna, for 24 years and Donna and I are the very proud parents of three wonderful children: Emily, Alex and Ethan. Over the last 10 years I have been very involved as a youth ice hockey coach with a number of local ice hockey clubs and currently serve as the President of the Board of Directors for the Florida High School Hockey Association. Additionally, I volunteer as an assistant coach with the East Lake Little League. I also enjoy music, golf, travel, exploring the outdoors and spending as much time as possible with my family.
I welcome you to my practice and look forward to meeting you soon.
